Renee J. James

Vice President,
General Manager, Software and Solutions Group,

Renee is responsible for software strategy, products, and services for Intel, with research and development operations in more than 20 countries.

Renee manages worldwide teams that interact with all software companies conducting business with Intel. These key relationships encompass the entire product life-cycle, including early planning, deep product enabling, and sales and marketing activities. Her responsibilities include managing a global developer relations group and engineering and product teams, as well as overseeing Intel® Solution Services, Intel’s worldwide professional services organization.

Renee has contributed to several key software and services efforts during her tenure at Intel. She was the product and program manager for the first software video codecs (Indeo), and was a key member of the team developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for the unification of Unix* on Intel® Architecture. In addition to being part of the pioneering team working with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to move applications to the Intel Architecture, Renee was also the assistant general manager of the Intel Online Services hosting business, and served for four years as technical assistant to then-Intel chairman and CEO Andrew S. Grove, now Senior Advisor to Executive Management.

Rick J. Echevarria

Through Enterprise Solution Sales, Intel Corporation's worldwide professional services organization, Rick helps companies capitalize on the full value of Intel® architecture through consulting focused on architecture transitions. The Intel® Solution Centers are state-of-the-art testing facilities located in key regions throughout the world.

Before assuming his current position, Rick spent two years as Director of Product Marketing for Intel's Communication Products Group and as Director of Internet Marketing for the Enterprise Server Group. Before joining Intel in 1994, Rick was a software developer for IBM in Austin, TX.

Doug Fisher

Vice President,
Software and Solutions Group, and General Manager, System Software Division,
Intel Corporation

Doug joined Intel’s Software and Solutions Group in 2001, where he now heads the Core Software Division—responsible for a broad range of development, enabling, analysis, and optimization efforts around pre-boot firmware, operating systems, and key desktop and enterprise applications, including mobile-enabled applications.

In his previous roles, Doug has served as Director of Worldwide Engineering for Intel Online Services, where his tenure included setting up the International Engineering organization, and leading the Server Management Software development organization for the Intel Enterprise Platform Group. He has also managed several new product development and research efforts at Intel, including projects around remote LAN access, data over VBI, and 'Internet in a box.'

Prior to joining Intel, Doug worked for 10 years at Hewlett-Packard, where he started his career as a software developer on a real-time operating system and served as marketing manager for the OpenView Network Node Manager product line.

Elliot Garbus

General Manager,

In his role as General Manager of the Developer Relations Division in Intel's Software and Solutions Group, Elliot provides programs and services to assist software companies gain maximum value from Intel® platforms.

Elliot joined Intel in 1988 and has held management positions in processor and platform architecture, new product planning, and application engineering. He holds 15 patents and is the recipient of an Intel Achievement Award.

William A Savage (Bill Savage)

General Manager,
Developer Products Division, Software and Solutions Group,
Intel Corporation

Bill’s organization produces products that enable software developers to use Intel® processors and platforms to their advantage, while enhancing the differentiation between Intel platforms and competitive platforms. These products include Intel’s compilers, libraries, Vtune, and threading tools.

Bill joined Intel in January 1990 as part of the i860 compiler project. He managed the Intel Compiler Lab until 2004.
